Browsers store small files called cookies for the sites you visit. DigInGuide puts none there: the site sets no cookie, and nor does any third party — checked in a browser on a live article. Nothing is written to local storage either, so there is no consent banner.
What we use
Nothing, in cookie terms — no analytics, no ads, no embedded media. Our host keeps server logs (IP, time, page, browser), which are not cookies; the privacy policy sets those out, together with the country lookup the form and search use. An author avatar may load from Gravatar on some pages, which is an image.
Switching them off for good
There is nothing to switch off, but you can still block or clear cookies from any site in your browser settings. This page is updated when something actually changes — and it will change before DigInGuide ever sets a cookie.
